Over the weekend there were many occupations and protests against the American government. Often you could hear people chanting, "Show me what democracy looks like" and answering "This is what democracy looks like", referring to themselves.
So I'm asking you to watch the slide show of images from this weekend and answer: If "this is what democracy looks like", then what IS democracy? Use evidence from the slides to back up your opinion.
(ex. I think democracy means ... because in the slides there are images of...)

Democracy: - A government governed by the whole population

Oligarchy: - A small group of people having control of a country
Plutocracy: - A government governed by the wealthy.
